CONCEPT
The CJA – Committee of Young Arbitrators – is one of the projects conceived and implemented by the President of CBMA, Gustavo Schmidt, for the promotion of alternative means of conflict resolution in Brazil.
Inaugurated in December 2015, the CJA seeks, through a team specialized in arbitration, to outline new directions for the resolution of conflicts on the national scene.
The Committee has two fronts, one of which is related to academic activities – such as writing articles, organizing social media, etc. – and another aimed at creating events, whether internal for the Committee members themselves or external to the active legal community.
Among the benefits of the Committee, the CJA's promotion of study groups, the creation of internal and external competitions related to arbitration, the preparation of a magazine with the support of the CBMA, and the sending of an informative on the main news in the sphere of arbitration, stand out.
